Katie’s AirBnB property is self-contained and private, and is set in a mature garden with access to a pool. There are three double bedrooms, and a living–dining area running the width of the house. All the windows are louvred for through breezes and coolness, although there is air-conditioned throughout.

With shaded verandas there is ample room for the visiting painter to paint outdoors or in. The recently completed studio is an excellent facility for the visiting potter. There is a never-ending source of inspiration to be found in the local areas, whatever the season (and there are seven of them!). The ochre, parched soils, washes of colour in the bush, and green pools during the Dry, and the brassy skies, vivid greenery, waterlogged scenery and storms of the Wet, will have you reaching for your art supplies!
If you have forgotten anything, or need to re-stock your favourite pigments, or have the completely wrong set of colours, then the local art supply shop isn’t far away.
